Simon Carreño
I was born on Chillán in 2nd of may of 1993, I’m a computer engineer and a video games fan, I always enjoyed those things and I decided to make them the reason of my life.
I went from San Buenaventura School on Chillán, I studied there all my childwood till my graduation, My passions were the mathematics and the poetry, and my enemy just the reality.
Since 2011 I’ve decided to entry to study Computing Engineering and actually I got graduated in 2014 as Computer Engineer after making my final project using Unreal Engine 4 and making a system which allows you to create FPS with a Inventory, put dialogs in the scenes more easily using DataTables, a really simple but useful SaveSystem which even saves your inventory, direction and position in the map, and an achievement system that can be placed and activated if player meet certain condition. I had a 6.0 out of 7.0 in the project.
My first approach in videogame development was before that. In 2009 I made a game modding community called HeXentic Games (Now is my own game development studio). There I created some mods to HeXen and also I made a few ones by myself for DooM 2.
Several years has been passed since then, now my focus is in Game Level Design, trying to do some pretty stuff with the nowadays tools as Unreal Engine, CryEngine and Unity.
