Tawan Davis is the founder and CEO of The Steinbridge Group. This company’s goal is to invest more than $2 billion through building a portfolio of several thousand homes. The group takes a long-term view regarding the neighborhoods and cities in which it invests and works. To this end, The Steinbridge Group invests in the growth and wellbeing of these communities by providing quality, affordable housing. The organization includes real estate professionals who are leaders in their field and have extensive experience in acquisition, investment, construction, asset management, development, and leasing.

The Harvard Business School, Forbes magazine, Bloomberg News, and others, have lauded Mr. Davis as one of the US’s most prominent emerging social, economic, and business leaders. His leadership style draws on deep training techniques and his experience in the fields of finance and economics. Mr. Davis’s career began with Goldman Sachs as an investment banker, and he subsequently took on the role of real estate private equity investor at Prudential Financial. He later served in the administration of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as the Vice President and a Head of Public-Private Partnerships for the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

In addition to his leadership role in The Steinbridge Group, Davis also held the post of Adjunct Professor at New York University, and served on the boards of Harlem Hospital, the New Horizons Children's Advocacy Group, and the New York Urban League, and was appointed by Mayor DeBlasio to the New York City Water Utility Board.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of Georgetown University, Oxford University (UK) and the Harvard Business School.
