The first camera I ever got was the Diana F+ Lomography. It was a toy camera back in the day; however it was known for its dreamy like effects, and blurred edges. I loved the way it made everything look like it stepped out of my dreams. I orchestrated some pretty creative pictures from that camera. It wasn't a toy for me, because it looked like a "real camera". I still have it, and when I want to get a special effect or create a certain mood; I still use it!

Whether its photography, drawing, or painting I have been an artist for over 40 years. I am self taught. Although, I did have formal lessons for five years, and then was an apprentice to an artist that freelanced for the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I assisted on many ad's that ran in the late 70's and 80's; back when the ad's were created with ink and Bristol board.

I was designing T-shirts working for a company that landed an account with JC Penny's in the early 90's, and still used ruby and amberlith for color separations. This of course was done in combination with a Mac program. Gradually as the programs improved I learned to "draw" and "paint" using these computer programs. The best program to achieve the effect that I want is Gimp. I have "painted" complete portraits with my finger on a pad.

Eventually, I was put in a situation while designing logos and company branding; I started marketing and networking for the same clients. Thus, the huge data base of contacts was created and still called upon today.

I love to talk! My mother told me that I started talking at 9 months. People would stop and stare at the baby having a very real conversation with her mother. I have never been shy, and I have never passed up the chance to talk. Marketing was a perfect fit for me. I mean Marketing the old fashioned way. The kind where you actually built relationships with your potential clients, networked, brought people together in order to accomplish the goal.

I still do my online marketing efforts the same way to an extent. And Social Media marketing was created just for me (loving to talk the way I do)! Although, I swear I am the one that created Social Media marketing. I started using the various social media platforms before it was "the thing to do." Again, mainly because I enjoy talking with others so very much...what a dream job for a talker!
