My name is John and I am a local Brooklyn tennis coach with over 21 years of playing experience and over 11 years of teaching experience! As a life long tennis player, my unique and fun view of the game and teaching style will surely enhance any player’s game.
I have also enjoyed a four year college career at Johnson & Wales University where we won our conference championship my senior year while I was co-captain of our team. My teaching style has been influenced by my uncle (a tennis pro for over 40 years now, who was a former top U.S. ranked tennis player) and younger pros who have mentored me along the way and molded my teaching style to fit the modern game. I not only teach with analogies that allows players to feel the right shots, but they can have video analysis of their strokes!
I am offering private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I teach tennis lessons at Cooper Park, Astoria Park, Marine Park, Fort Greene Park and McCarran Park (which has a bubble over the courts in the winter). I’m open to other courts in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens as well.
I look forward to hearing from you and I look forward to the opportunity to be your Brooklyn tennis coach. See you on the court!
