I'm a science-teacher by trade, mother of two, wife of 1 and many other things. Graduated from UW Madison with a BS in Conservation Biology in 1997. Worked for the DNR for about a year. Met my now husband, Josh. Went back to school to get certified to teach middle and high school biology, chemistry, and physical science. Married Josh in 2001, residing in Appleton. Taught high school science for about 3 years in Appleton. Had our first daughter in March of 2004, Arry. Had our second daughter in June 2008, aptly named June. We moved from Appleton to Door County in May 2008. I have stayed home with kids full time since 2004, slowly getting back to work outside the home since 2011. I work very part time for our local Public Health Department, providing breastfeeding education to pregnant and nursing mothers. Have been substitute teaching again since the fall of 2013. I plan return to the classroom when the time is right for our family. I am taking one day at a time. I love music and am blessed to live in an area with great local musical artists--and artists of all kinds. Love supporting the arts. Love sharing this well-spring of artistry here with my children. .
