Terrence Carter

An education executive with more than 20 years of experience, Terrence Carter holds the title of executive leadership partner at Scholastic, Inc., a $500 million global education software and multimedia company in New York. Among his primary responsibilities, he trains client development teams, implements solutions for instructional leadership, and meets with senior administrators to identify goals. Before joining Scholastic in 2014, Terrence Carter achieved prior success implementing programs to improve individual school performance in large school districts.

Concurrently, Mr. Carter serves as founder and president of TPC Educational Solutions, LLC, a consulting and training company for organizations in the education, health-care, human services, and other industries. He founded the boutique company in 2010 to help both for-profit and nonprofit organizations reach their goals in the areas of talent management, team building, strategic planning, roles and responsibilities, succession planning, and onboarding.

Among his achievements at TPC Educational Solutions, Terrence Carter helped a health-care group elevate employee engagement by 75 percent, and he trained approximately 50 managers in the health-care, social services, and educational technology industries on creating productive work environments and team building.
