About: THE AMBITION 1706

The Ambition 1706, is a songwriter, arranger, & producer from NYC whose focus is R&B, Hybrid Rock, Pop, & Hip Hop. A multi-instrument composer, he has had the honor of working in the studio as writer/collaborator/vocal arranger for several signed acts as well as various local and international independent acts.

Hardship has never been a stranger to The Ambition, he was born legally deaf. He spent his childhood enduring surgeries and ear therapy. Finally, when he reached high school he taught himself to play the piano as well as music theory before changing his focus to a music & business concentration, earning him a full music scholarship to Five Towns College.

His sound is a fusion of Trap, New Jack Swing, and EDM. Blending soulful gospel chords with EDM sounds on top of jittery 808 Trap production, you get a slice of what The Ambition 1706 is capable of. Expanding his sound over the years he’s an electronic producer, (Pro tools/FL Studio/Reaper) whose sample chops are at the core of hip hop. Transcending the studio he is an arranger & producer for live musicians. He plays piano, guitar, bass, and percussion as well as being professionally trained as a vocal arranger and vocal coach.
