The Wild Life is a multimedia blog for WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station. We cover all animal issues — those in the wild and the ones closer to home, with an emphasis on the connection between humans and other animals.

Reporter and New York Times bestselling author VICKI CROKE has been covering wildlife for more than two decades, in newspapers, books, magazines, and on TV. She has tracked fossa in Madagascar, polar bears in the Arctic Circle, and Tasmanian devils in, of course, Tasmania.

Award-winning multimedia producer CHRISTEN GOGUEN is a passionate storyteller. An accomplished videographer, graphic designer, social media manager and consultant, and multimedia producer, she has worked for WBUR (Boston’s NPR news station), PBS Newshour, and Harvard University, among others. She is the recipient of both PRNDI (Public Radio News Directors Inc.) and Edward R. Murrow awards.
