I'm Thom, Chief Creative Officer at my latest company, Seacoast Candle.

Living on the coast of Maine, I've often heard visitors lament their vacations ending, wishing they had a piece of this heaven I call home. So here it is -handcrafted candle holders made from individually collected, ancient sea stones.

I started creating and operating candle and pottery stores in the 1960's with The Copper Candle in Kennebunkport, Maine. Those were sweet days. I went on to create and operate eight more stores from Portland to Boston, and a candle-making factory in Maine.

My wife and I settled in the area we love most, on the coast of Maine, just over the bridge from Portsmouth, N.H. We had a terrific son, (who's still terrific at 28)!

I always admired the crafts people who sold me their goods, and decided, after selling my stores, to begin a life of bringing my own creations to the marketplace.
