Thomas C. McDonald

Since 1995, Tom C. McDonald has worked as Co-Owner of Atlantic Controls in Holbrook, Massachusetts. At this company, McDonald applies his knowledge of D/C power and lighting equipment towards manufacturing related devices. Moreover, he is credentialed as a General Electric (GE) Power Quality representative, and among the products sold by Tom C. McDonald are GE uninterruptible power supplies, GE automatic transfers switches, and GE paralleling switchgear. Additionally, he provides clients with Powersmiths high efficiency transformers, Hennig enclosure systems, and Hennig generators.

Along with his responsibilities at Atlantic Controls, Tom C. McDonald is also the owner and Principal of Infra-Red Building & Power Service, Inc. In this position, he works with hospitals, commercial properties, and industrial facilities to review and repair their low-to-high voltage equipment. A Master Electrician, Certified Level 1 Thermographer, and an International Electrical Testing Association (NETA) Level 4 Technician, Tom C. McDonald concerns himself with complex wiring systems and troubleshoots various issues. Additionally, he trains new employees in his field.

Tom C. McDonald's is also dedicated to helping a variety of charities. Philanthropic groups supported by McDonald include the Hanover Food Pantry and Troop 38 of the Boy Scouts of America, which serves as the organization's Hanover chapter. After losing his wife to cancer, he started the Janet McDonald Memorial Walk, which earns money for the immunotherapy division at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Since its inception nearly 20 years ago, the walk has earned more than $200,000.

When not working, Tom C. McDonald enjoys traveling around the world. For the past 13 years, he has annually visited Aruba and enjoys spending time in the Bahamas. Mr. McDonald also enjoys going camping, hiking, power boating, and canoeing.
