Thomas Dodd

Television and media industry executive with broad experience in all aspects of management and entrepreneurship within broadcast, media content production and integrated communications services. He heads several companies highly specialised within digital execution - and core capabilities span establishing and managing government and corporate communications, designing and building 24/7 TV news channels, sports TV channels and shopping TV networks. Services offered are always unique because they are always customised to client requirements. Clients tend to be business owners and demand is strongest in emerging economies by offering efficient, productive and competitively priced solutions. Current projects reflect this; they are in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Eastern Africa as well as in India.

Thomas recently served as communications strategy Advisor to the European Endowment for Democracy.

Thomas has held senior executive roles in launching news television channels and television production companies, as well as on-line media and international strategic communications initiatives, this including in crisis and war zones. He regularly acts as strategic communications advisor to governments.

He is an internationally known advocate of introducing fully integrated media enterprise operations as a way to solve not only technology problems but also business problems related to increasing collaboration, productivity and – ultimately – Return On Investment. He has worked in multinational environments for 20+ years.

Thomas began his career with Financial Times Newsletters in London, working for analyst publications such as Cable & Satellite Europe, Television Business International, New Media Markets and The Media Analyst.
