Thomas Karet

In 2000, Thomas Karet helped to found ECHO Realty, then served in several leadership roles before becoming CEO, where he remains today. Karet is responsible for providing ECHO Realty with its core direction and strategy. Since 2007, ECHO has concentrated on growth through diversifying its portfolio by developing and purchasing shopping centers built around the leading grocery chains along the East Coast and Mid West.

Before founding ECHO, he was a partner in the Chicago office of the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP and the New York City office of the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP.

In his personal time, Thomas Karet supports his community as a council member of Fox Chapel Borough, chair of the Fox Chapel Country Day School. He also serves as a trustee for both the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children and Pittsburgh Children’s Museum board.
