Thomas Ocheltree
Adjunct Faculty, Partner, and Leiutenant -Dental Corps in Bloomington, IL
After securing his bachelor of arts in biology from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, Dr. Thomas Ocheltree matriculated at the Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Dental Medicine in Alton, where he served as a delegate to the American Student Dental Association and a member of the SIU Dental School Accreditation Committee. Dr. Thomas Ocheltree earned his doctor of dental medicine from SIU cum laude in 1999.
Dr. Ocheltree subsequently entered the United States Navy as a lieutenant in the Dental Corps, rotating through a range of dental specialties as part of an advanced education general dentistry residency program. He remained with the Navy for four years as a provider of general dentistry and oral surgical services to newly enlisted recruits.
After completion of oral and maxillofacial surgery residency through Christiana Care Health Systems in 2006, Dr. Thomas Ocheltree became a partner in a private oral surgical practice in Bloomington, Illinois.
