Thomas Spera MD

With more than 25 years of experience in neuroradiology, Thomas Spera, MD, balances his current practice between roles at Southwest Xray in El Paso, Texas and Mountain View Imaging Associates, PC, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He is the lead Radiology physician at the latter to direct the development of a new Comprehensive Breast Center. Additionally, Thomas Spera, MD, performs procedures such as endovascular biopsies and uterine artery embolization. He holds membership with the American Society of Neuroradiology and the American College of Radiology.

Away from his medical practice, Dr. Thomas Spera pursues a number of outdoor activities in Arizona, such as hiking in Sabino Canyon and snowboarding in Pine Top. He also likes skiing in Utah and traveling throughout Europe. An avid sports fan, he supports the University of Arizona basketball team, the University of Michigan football team, and the Green Bay Packers. In addition, he contributes to the Catholic Church.
