A board-certified spine surgeon, Thomas Tolli, MD, studied at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center. He went on to pursue a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic-Spine Service, a global leader in sports medicine. Over the course of nearly 20 years, Dr. Thomas Tolli has worked with professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA, and PGA. Currently, he operates out of a private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he treats a range of spinal injuries and degenerative conditions.
Dr. Thomas Tolli belongs to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, and he is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. In addition to his clinical background, he has published research in various medical journals including The Spine in Sports, Seminars in Spine Surgery, and Disorders of the Cervical Spine. Dr. Tolli continues to remain active as a researcher and lecturer at national medical conferences.
