Danny Thompson

A graduate of Stockton, California's University of the Pacific, Danny Thompson holds a bachelor of arts in communications with minors in Spanish and ethnic studies. While working toward his undergraduate degree, he served as the philanthropy chair and pledge educator of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Danny Thompson also served as a Pacific resident assistant and an assistant with the Pacific Center for Services for Students with Disabilities. Over the course of his career, he has held a number of positions in the food industry and assistant-managed the Reputation Advising team of Reputation.com.

In addition to his other volunteer endeavors, Danny Thompson coordinated the Book Buddies program at the University of the Pacific. The San Joaquin County Public Library first established this reading mentor program for in 1994 as a response to the literacy needs of local children. Under Mr. Thompson's leadership, Book Buddies coordinated a number of activates, including drawing pictures of featured stories, using hand puppets to retell stories, and making flash cards of vocabulary words.
