Thorn Brier

I am a sociologist, meaning I study societies. I am fascinated by all things of culture and society, the world is just such an amazing place. I also write social commentary, mostly in the form of Sci-Fi and Fantasy stories, many of those in Furry worlds (meaning the peoples have some attributes of animals other than humans). I openly discuss topics that many find socially unacceptable such as religion, politics, pros and cons of different monetary systems, and even 'aberrant' sexuality.

In reality I am a gender-fluid caucasian male. But most of my loved ones, my husband, my wife, my dear pet, and my many denmates and companions, all know me as Chakat Thornbrier, a hermaphroditic felitaur with four arms and breasts (depicted in the background).

My role model is Gene Roddenberry, perhaps best known as the creator of the Star Trek franchise, his vision for a brighter future has changed our modern world tremendously. I can only hope my writings and creations can have a fraction of that impact to keep going with his dream.
