Tim McEwen

Tim McEwen is a feature film storyboard and concept artist, an illustrator and cartoonist, a graphic designer, comic book creator and dad. He has had comics, cartoons and illustrations published professionally since he was 17 years old.

His most notable comic book creation is Greener Pastures (co-created with Michael Michalandos in 1990), which stars the naïve and loveable stud bull Trevor Bovis. It was nominated for 16 OzCon Awards, winning two in 1997, has featured in four exhibitions around Australia, and has fans worldwide.

Currently Tim's working with George Miller on Happy Feet 2, and has helped out on Mad Max 4: Fury Road, Fur Brigade and Babe 3.

Tim is integrally involved in Australia's pop culture scene as a comic creator, through his work in the film industry, and as the Founding Art Director of Australia's biggest pop culture expo Supanova.

He's the proud father of two kids and has an understanding wife who hasn't thrown out his collection of 9000 comic books.
