Timothy Kovacs

Based in Southern California, Timothy Kovacs has served as assistant director of education services with the Baldwin Park Unified School District for several years. Guiding an experienced team of professionals in early-childhood education, Timothy Kovacs manages activities that help safeguard the physical and mental health of students and include areas such as nutrition, case management, and monitoring.
Holding a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) Mr. Kovacs earned his psychology master’s degree at California State University, Fullerton. He achieved certification from the Center For Integrated Family and Health Services.
Mr. Kovacs previously held responsibilities as program manager with the Baldwin Park school district’s Head Start program. Guiding assessments of participants in the 3-to-5 year age range, he ensured that the program met their needs and also facilitated social service support provided to area families.
Timothy Kovacs’ past responsibilities include leading the Clinical Trainee Program in tandem with Azusa Pacific University (where he is an adjunct faculty member) and several other local organizations. He actively guides trainees working toward their required level of professional clinical hours.
