Todd Fiebiger

Chiropractor Todd Fiebiger owned and operated a private clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. An efficient and highly skilled practitioner, he saw over 90 patients a day and also offered at-home rehabilitation, acupuncture therapy, therapeutic massage, dietary instruction, nutrition education, and radiographic procedures. In addition to providing medical services, Dr. Fiebiger managed the business side of his practice and grew the start-up into a $1 million business, proving his business acumen to be comparable to his medical expertise.

Dr. Todd Fiebiger opened Fiebiger Chiropractic in 1995 after finishing his education and training as a chiropractor. A graduate of the University of Minnesota and Northwestern College of Chiropractic, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the former and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the latter. Being a natural entrepreneur as well as a trained healer, Dr. Fiebiger relied on his innate business sense as well as his medical training to grow his fledgling clinic. For example, he cultivated relationships with hospitals, clinics, and major insurance carriers in order to achieve a Designated Provider status with them, which resulted in patient referrals to his clinic. Dr. Fiebiger also established relationships with human resource professionals at local businesses, leading to further referrals.

In addition to developing business strategies to grow his practice, Dr. Todd Fiebiger oversaw the more mundane business responsibilities associated with operating a medical office. These responsibilities included coordinating the billing process, submitting insurance claims, complying with Medicare reporting regulations, and making general budgetary and financial decisions. Fiebiger’s hard work paid off when he secured a buyer for his practice, who took full control of the business after a multiyear transition period.
