Todd Cope

Corporate executive Todd Cope commands more than two decades of experience at successful technology companies, including product development, marketing, and finances. Presently, he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of STaSIS Engineering, a Summit Point, West Virginia, firm that creates high-performance technologies used in the automotive industry. An attentive and focused family man as well, Todd Cope spends his free time with his wife and daughter.

Before helping to grow STaSIS Engineering, Mr. Cope earned a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After earning his degree, he joined Altera Corporation in Northern California and worked his way through the ranks at the semiconductor manufacturer, with roles including design engineer, design-center manager, product-marketing manager, and product-planning manager. Among his major achievements at Altera, Mr. Cope oversaw pricing, marketing, and financial forecasting for a product line totaling $400 million in sales; he received 20 U.S. patents for technologies involving semiconductor-chip architecture and circuit design. He lived in Malaysia to establish an Altera engineering division that within two years contributed to 50 percent of the company's engineering design projects.

An executive employee of STaSIS Engineering since 2004, Todd Cope played a critical role in raising equity capital during the company's common and preferred stock offerings. Through his connections with individual and group investors, he also raised funds for STaSIS, which has allowed the company to achieve triple-digit growth in recent years. Outside of the office, Mr. Cope enjoys attending events with his daughter and participating in outdoor sports with her. An accomplished distance runner as well, he has participated in four marathons and numerous smaller races over the years. He also holds a Master's in Business Administration from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California.
