Tracey Johnston (born Kitchener, ON August 10, 1957) is a Canadian entrepreneur known for her award winning environmentalism, quality, service and community involvement in the Region of Waterloo.
Personal
Tracey Johnston graduated from the Ontario Art College in Toronto, Ontario in 1979. She married Brian Aldworth, salesman for CAYA Fabric, in 1987. She changed her name to Tracey Johnston-Aldworth. Today, they live in Waterloo, Ontario. No children.
Career
On graduating from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Johnston-Aldworth (then Johnston) sold fine art in Toronto while hand painting shirts on the side for $8.00 (Canadian) per shirt. During a visit to [[Holt Renfrew]] in Toronto, she found one of her shirts on a rack with a $125.00 (Canadian) price tag. It was at that moment that she decided to go into her own business.
She started Traces Screen Printing Limited in Waterloo, Ontario in October of 1985 with the help of her father Murray Johnston, a retired engineer and business owner, and her sister, Susan Tata, a model and actress who had recently returned from Los Angeles.
Today, she is the sole owner of Traces Screen Printing Limited and is known for her devotion to the environment, energy conservation, and the community. She has been recognized for her efforts with numerous local and regional awards.

Environmental Stewardship and Recognition
Johnston-Aldworth is known in the Region of Waterloo for her ongoing efforts in the area of conservation and environmental sustainability. In addition to a company-wide “reduce, re-use, recycle”, her company, Traces Screen Printing Ltd. only uses chemicals that are drain-safe, non-carcinogenic, air-safe, and water-safe. Her environmental leadership and stewardship has been recognized both locally and regionally. 1995 Traces was featured in a film produced by Jangles Productions, sponsored by the Association of Municipal Recycling Coordinators ”Stop Waste From Adding Up” length 14:46
