Kayla Cato

Softball Trainer

Kayla Cato is an Atlanta native, residing in Decatur, GA. After graduating from Druid Hills High School, she continued her softball career at Claflin University, a top-ranked liberal arts University.

Kayla finished her collegiate career ranked nationally in three of the seasons.

Throughout her tenure she received;

  • 2018 SIAC Player of the Year
  • 2019 CIAA Player of the Year
  • 2019 Schutt Sports/NCFA Division II Player of the Year Watch List
  • 2019 D2CCA All-American Softball Accolades
  • 2018 and 2019 Division II - HBCU Player of the Year

Kayla continued her softball career post-college with the American Softball Association, a professional softball organization

Collegiate career stats: batting average of .342, slugging percentage of .695, 216 runs, 51 home runs, and 197 RBIs.
