Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Trapeze Asset Management Inc. was co-founded in 1999 by president and CEO Randall Abramson and chairman Herb Abramson. Employing fundamental research and proprietary investment methodologies, Trapeze Asset Management offers portfolio management for organizations and individuals with investment accounts valuing $500,000 or greater.

Trapeze selects securities based upon its concept of value investing, wherein criteria for selection favor those securities undervalued relative to Trapeze's estimate of their fair market value (FMV), and whose businesses are projected for sustained earnings growth based on Trapeze's analysis.

Trapeze assigns an experienced portfolio manager to counsel each client in the determination of the appropriate investment mandate. Mandates may vary in their objective among growth, income, or balanced objectives, according to a client’s personal situation, needs, goals and other circumstances. Clients have direct access to their Trapeze portfolio manager; in this ongoing relationship, portfolios are maintained in alignment with the client-specific mandate as well as the client's self-declared investment requests or restrictions.
