goldenPiers discovered his calling in life whilst photographing skateboarders for fun at just thirteen years old. He carried on skateboarding – but more importantly taking pictures at every opportunity.

Piers is now a regular contributor for Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Sainsbury’s Magazine & CNN Traveller, and also works directly with tourist boards and hotel groups worldwide. He has worked with clients on global travel assignments, advertising, reportage, fashion & beauty and portraiture. This has given him a profound understanding of image creation and composition, combined with valuable practical experience.

He is still, after 20 years of image making, fascinated and enthralled by the picture taking process.

Piers has been nominated twice for International Colour Awards prestigious Photography Masters Cup (2007 & 2010). Piers is also a finalist for Food Photographer of the Year 2014.
