Birmingham, Alabama

I have grown up in Guntersville, Alabama where I have been interested in all forms of the fine arts. I began dancing at the age of three and appeared on stage at the Whole Backstage Theater in Guntersville for the first time at the age of four. As I continued dancing, I truly fell in love with it and found that being a choreographer suited me as well. Choreography was just another outlet for me to be creative. I was able to choreograph for local dancelines, teach dance for after school programs, and choreograph for ongoing musicals at the community theater in which I grew up.

I also became interested in the visual arts when I entered middle school. My art teacher is the one who inspired me to follow a path into the visual arts, and I now create drawings and various prints based on my love of dance. I now live in Birmingham, Alabama where I am finishing up me BFA at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I plan on graduating in the spring of of this year and want to pursue a master’s degree in education after the completion of my undergraduate career.
