Trevor Babott

Having earned more than two decades of industry experience, Trevor Babott owns TJB Construction Ltd., based in Waterdown, Ontario. He guides the planning, design, and construction of high-end residential homes from start to finish, working with consulting engineers to ensure the structural integrity of custom designs. Trevor Babott also handles the process of securing city building permits and approvals necessary for projects to proceed.

The custom home-building process typically takes Mr. Babott between six months to a year to complete. Dedicated to finding the right contractors for the job, he obtains at least two bids for every project component, including framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, foundation, roofing, and trim work. Trevor Babott is regularly on-site to manage contractors and troubleshoot work issues as they arise. He also stays in close contact with customers and provides regular updates on progress. Southern Ontario communities in which he has constructed marketable and highly valued homes include Milton, Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville.

After completing education in Welding Engineering at Conestoga College, Trevor Babott served as a Project Manager for Home Access Designs Inc. He oversaw projects throughout the greater Toronto area, focusing especially on wheelchair-accessible residences. Staying in close contact with upper management, he handled all invoices and paperwork related to work being undertaken.

Passionate about outdoor activities such as fishing, golfing, and hiking, Mr. Babott is an active member of his local YMCA. He also supports the charitable efforts of local hospice and cancer organizations and he volunteers in the Portuguese community. A certified power-squadron boat operator, Trevor Babott can operate a number of marine vessels and vehicles, including jet skis and large personal yachts.
