I’m Troy.

I’m a writer and editor with a focus on Black speculative fiction and social justice.

I blog about race, nerd culture, and speculative fiction over at afrofantasy.

My writing has been featured in many publications.

When I’m not writing or working, I fill my time with books, video games, and travel. My favorite book is Devil in a Blue Dress. I love backpacking through cities and telling stories. I only drink coffee, beer, and water, but I’m making an exception for tea. I currently live in Memphis, Tennessee with my wife (Kimberly) and our dogs (Prince Rogers Wiggins and Joseph Josiah Wiggins).
