In my view, HR enables the business to perform at its best - or at least it should. To that end, the HR initiatives and activities must be strategically anchored. In order to assure this, HR must be organised in proximity of the management team of any company.

Only by really understanding the business and the business drivers and dynamics of the industry can HR understand the real needs of its surroundings and act accordingly.
