I have been in the military and a cop for well over 35 years. In both professions I know there are those of us who suffer silently inside because of some of the mind numbingly, horrific things we have to see and deal with. Military veterans are committing suicide at an average of 22 veterans a day. In the police community around the country I personally believe that number is even higher. I have lost brothers and sisters in both fields. I made a short film about one mans struggle. Its not much. I am just a military veteran /cop /actor with an awesomely talented son who can use a camera. He wanted to help me. I wanted to stay out of the politics but try to bring some awareness to this issue. It doesn't say anything that hasn't already been said or done much better in a hundred different movies but this is just my take. Anyway if you want please check out my 8 minute short film 'Twenty Two'. One of my VFT buddies suggested I add a trigger warning for an intense scene in the film involving a firearm and a veteran in crisis so here is that....Thanks in advance for your support.
