Ty Schenzel

I love being married to Terri Schenzel. I also love being my four kids's dad: Emily, Annie, Tyler and Turner. I'm thankful for my two grandchildren: Theo and Violet (thanks again Paul and Emily)!

God has given me a "Dad's Heart" for youth. I feel a fatherly love for young people. This passion led to the birthing of a non-profit, the Hope Center for Kids in North Omaha in 1998.

I also wrote a book that describes my journey from rural Nebraska to inner city Omaha- "A Thousand Screaming Mules".

I love "hope"! Life can't be lived without "hope". I want everyone I know to have "hope".
