United Charitable

United Charitable, a nonprofit organization based in Tysons, Virginia, improves charitable operations for programs around the world. This is made possible thanks to the support that the organization provides to programs and their managers through its fiscally sponsored program. Such programs assist charities with administrative tasks, including fundraising, compliance, documentation, and taxation. Beyond that, United Charitable streamlines program operations and promotes sustainable donations from supporters.

United Charitable works on the donor side of nonprofit operations, as well. Although the organization does not offer financial advising services to the clients it works with, it does promote communication about charitable giving between donors and their wealth advisors. Alongside that, in order to support those charitable intentions, the organization offers a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) program to clients. Through this fund, donors are given the opportunity of making a tax-deductible contribution that is invested by wealth managers over a period of time. While donors do not directly control this fund, they do have access to their personalized online portal with live financials where they can recommend which charities their contributions are ultimately given to and within given timetables.

The organization has been in operation since 2010 and has promoted donations to more than 10,000 charitable organizations. They have also sponsored the Ron Leary Reach Foundation, an organization that promotes leadership and academics among youth in impoverished communities. United Charitable also holds a seal of transparency at the platinum level from Guidestar.
