VIAgroup

VIA is a special interest research group at Coventry University comprised of staff and research students with expertise on interpersonal violence. Our group aims are fivefold:

1 -- To increase our understanding of the nature, causes and consequences of violence and aggression within human relationships

2 -- To understand the needs of individuals who engage in and/or are victims of violence and/or aggression

3 -- To develop an empirical evidence base for the development of interventions

4 -- To design, implement and evaluate evidence-based prevention and intervention strategies across all sectors

5 -- To provide training and dissemination activities to key stakeholders concerning these issues
