Zachary Vachris

An experienced hockey coach who works with youth 4 to 18 years of age, Zachary Vachris has served as an age group manager with Jr. Reign Youth Hockey since 2017. This position places him in charge of all elements of team building and coaching, from recruiting players to leading practices and games. In 2018, he took on additional responsibilities as a director with Ice Town Carlsbad and a coach with an Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League team. Zachary Vachris’ duties with Ice Town involve serving as head coach and supervisor of more than eight individual youth hockey teams. His work with the Anaheim Ducks centers on recruiting and training high school athletes to compete as members of his team.

Zachary Vachris is passionate about the sport of hockey on both the professional and personal levels. He served as captain of both the Poway High School and the Northern Arizona University varsity hockey teams.
