Originally from Tabuaço, in the heart of the Alto Douro, Vale da Lua Douro DOC wine is authentic, meticulously produced from the finest grapes from this region. His character, moderate and spontaneous, translate it into a vital fellow to everyday.
After a careful selection and manual harvest, the grapes are subjected to crushing and destemmed. It follows a period of 24 hours maceration pre-fermentation at 30 ° C. Selected yeasts are used for induction of fermentation which takes place between 22 º and 24 º C for a minimum of 10 days. Malolactic fermentation induced by temperature control.
Ruby color, has an intense aroma of red fruits and slight balsamic notes. With good structure and body, round tannins and velvety, displays a long aftertaste.
Ideal with hunting meat dishes, sausages and cheese. Should be consumed between 16 º and 18 º C.
