Virginia Gardner

I grew up in Newport News, Virginia, in a family of five, attending Hampton Roads Academy. I attended Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia for two years, and transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University to complete my BFA and begin work on my MFA. I worked three years at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond for three years, as Executive Director of the Second Street Gallery in Charlottesville for four years, as a Realtor (www.CharlottesvilleHOME.com) for twenty-two years, and I've been working in mosaics as an artist (www.VirginiaMosaics.com) since 2004. I was married in 1983 to a lovely man, Stephen, and we enjoy the company of two Dalmatians at the home that we built in Earlysville, Virginia (www.EarlysvilleHOMES.com).
