I’m Naveen E. Wickremasinghe; a licensed counsellor and psychology lecturer committed to enhancing mental health care in Sri Lanka and beyond. Born in Moratuwa and currently based in Athurugiriya, my work is grounded in compassion, resilience, and a deep fascination with the human mind.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Science in Clinical and Counselling Psychology with First Class Honours from IIC University of Technology, Cambodia. My academic foundation includes Advanced Diplomas in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from NIBM (Sri Lanka), the CPD Standards Office (UK), and QLS (UK).

With a multidisciplinary perspective, I also bring expertise in marketing. I completed the Professional Certificate in Marketing (PCM) from SLIM and a Digital Marketing qualification from Cambridge College of Business and Management. This unique blend of disciplines strengthens my strategic thinking and broadens my outreach and client engagement approach.

I am a Graduate Member of the Lanka Association of Psychologists and Counselling Professionals (Credential ID: L/GM2/2024/021) and a registered member of the American Psychological Association (APA) for 2026 (Credential ID: C2405206833); both reflect my commitment to professional ethics and global standards in mental health practice.

I offer tele-counselling services and also practise at several hospitals, medical centres, and counselling facilities across Colombo, with plans to expand my services island-wide. Additionally, I lecture in psychology at Innovatus Campus, mentoring aspiring mental health professionals.

My greatest inspiration has been my mother, Roshani Peiris-Wickremasinghe – a respected psychologist, psychotherapist, and motivational speaker whose dedication shaped my journey.

I’m a passionate educator and practitioner. I conduct individual counselling, group therapy, relationship counselling, and workshops focused on youth and family wellbeing.

My ultimate vision is to become a highly skilled, impactful psychologist dedicated to improving the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
