A longtime resident of Dallas, Texas, Walker Royall holds a bachelor of science from Southern Methodist University, where he double majored in finance and real estate. Walker Royall has remained in the greater Dallas throughout his career in real estate development and investment, serving 4 years as a leasing and income property sales manager with the Paragon Group (currently part of national commercial real estate firm Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis) before assuming his current position as president of Briarwood Capital.
His leadership role at Briarwood places him in charge of a commercial real estate portfolio with a total value of more than $200 million. Briarwood benefits from a number of well-established capital funding relationships with banking organizations.
Outside of the professional environment, Mr. Royall enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, and skiing. He also endeavors to give back to the general public as a board member with the North Texas chapter of the American Red Cross and a co-chair of the Episcopal School of Dallas Capital Campaign.
