Drawing on more than 30 years of financial-management experience, Warren Lammert is the founder and chief investment officer of Granite Point Capital, where he oversees a team responsible for managing $300 million in assets. Warren Lammert established the Boston-based company in 2004, prior to which he spent 15 years as a portfolio manager. He began his career in 1984 as a research associate with Fred Alger Management.

In addition to his work in the finance sector, he is equally passionate about raising money and awareness in support of epilepsy research. In 2002, he launched the Epilepsy Therapy Project, through which he helped fund five initiatives that spawned commercial therapies before and after its merger with the Epilepsy Foundation in 2013. Warren Lammert now serves on the board of directors of the Epilepsy Foundation, as well as the board of Engage Therapeutics, Cerebral Therapeutics and Tevard Biosciences.
