Lydia Mark is a Pan-African feminist and communications strategist with 6+ years of experience working at the intersection of gender equality, digital advocacy, and technology inclusion. Her work focuses on advancing digital gender justice and expanding equitable access for women and girls across emerging digital ecosystems.

She is the Founder of Zyra Global (formerly Web3 Woman Hub), a social impact initiative that has directly impacted over 1,000 women across 17 countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East through digital literacy and tech empowerment programs. In 2022, she also launched #WomenWeb3Wednesday, a women-centered live digital campaign that created conversations around inclusion, representation, mentorship, and emerging technologies within Web3 ecosystems with nearly 100 hours of audio recorded.

Trained in gender equality through certifications with the World Bank, UN Women, Ubiquity University, and the Young African Leaders Initiative, Lydia brings a strong interdisciplinary approach to advocacy, communications, and systems change. She is also a CFC Fellow at Chatham House and an alumna of global leadership programs including Google Women Techmakers, the LEAP Africa Social Innovation Fellowship, and the Power Shift Africa Fellowship.

With a growing focus on policy development and analysis, her work increasingly engages with the structural and regulatory dimensions of inclusion—exploring how feminist tech policy can drive sustainable social impact and safer digital ecosystems. Her thought leadership on digital gender justice and feminist policy has been featured on feminist media platforms across Africa. Across her roles as a writer, strategist, and advocate, she uses media and technology to amplify underrepresented voices and shape more inclusive digital futures.
