The goal is to get good enough to be classed as an amateur photographer. I don't have a big fancy camera but I think it takes some good photos so I see no need to upgrade it any time soon.
I enjoy going days out with my camera, especially to abandoned properties. I've still to find a particular scene I like best, but then again who says you need to select one type of photo to go for? Variety is the spice of life!
