Jayson Phommavongsa

Jayson's legal name is Xayavong Phommavongsa. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand on September 9th, 1990. Along with his first sibling (Jordon) three years and three months later.
Through out his childhood, his parent's marriage didn't last long after all in 1996. Both brothers were separated from each other after the divorce. Jordon was put under his mother's care, while Jayson is under his father's care.
Two years later, Jayson reunite with his brother and mother and permanently moved to a new life settings in Vientiane, Laos in 1998. Jayson's family were struggles, finding jobs, shelters, educations. They ended up staying with their relatives' homes.
In 1999, Jayson's grandmother invited his family to take a further steps by moving to United States with another relatives in The "Sunshine State" of St. Petersburg, Florida. Both brothers did not attend school, due to language crises. After a few months in Florida, Jayson's relative invited his family to move in Rockford, Illinois. Due to education availability with bilingual supports.
Years later, Jayson accepted Christ in 2001 at Zion Lutheran Church of Rockford, IL. And it is now a Youth Adviser & Creative Art Director at the Lao Evangelical Free Church (LEFC). Until today, He is living with his single mother, and two other siblings.
Jayson is now a Head of Cinematography of Faction 5 Inc, Founder of Jay's Media, and Videographer of JDM Chicago & RTSTK. Embarked on his love for photography when he was only a freshman in high school. He finds ways to make the best of each day by seizing moments in time with his camera. Amongst his most highly appreciated things to shoot, are specialty automotives and family portraits. He is constantly aiming to find new ways to shoot simple objects and to make mundane things beautiful. Jayson can venture out into any environment and in any situation to concoct a story through his images. He seeks to invent stimulating photos by devoting himself to the art of photography. Not only does Jayson have six years of photography experience, he also has three years of experience with videography. He began his career of cinematography at Rock Valley College by earning a certificate of mass communication. His favorite film is "Road to Perdition", favorite movie is "Inception". Jayson is the brains behind the innovative video of Faction 5 Inc.
