I'm a weathered & spiced photographer, marketing & social media leader and strategist. As a true Renaissance man, I'm recognized by my peers as an expert in studio lighting and photography, with a solid foundation in graphic design, relationship building, education and business communications.

Daily, I create marketing and social media programs to expand brand reach and build customer relationships. I build engaging social media content that regularly add viewers, increasing my brands' reach exponentially. I'm educate other photographers, camera clubs and schools on how to use the best tools to create stunning images. I'm a contributing writer for PHOTONews Magazine - Canada's largest circulation photography magazine for their print and online editions, plus host of PHOTONewsTV - a popular YouTube channel full of education and product reviews.

An avid cyclist (of all kinds - I have eight bikes) and outdoorsman, I work with bicycle shops to handle the things they need the most help with - social media, computer systems, websites and customer communications.

I've worn many hats in my career - business development, marketer, strategist, writer, manager, maintenance, builder, web developer & graphic designer. As a result, I bring a unique vision and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects & to navigate complex challenges.

Actual experience has taught me the following professional values:

  • I've been around the web since the beginning. I can manipulate the bleeding edge while maintaining roots in the core strengths of the online world;
  • I speak fluent geek, tech-head, marketer, editor, designer, photographer, trainer, salesperson, event planner and challenging client. Comprehension means fewer misunderstandings, which also means fewer costly blunders;
  • I’m a problem solver. I find solutions that are so far out of the box that I rarely stay in the box. Results-oriented solutions come from combining all those life and work experiences and looking for answers where others haven’t thought of looking;
  • I like credit, but I like to share that credit. We win and lose as a team. We bounce back as a team. We grow as a team. Life is so much better together.

I love making new professional and personal acquaintances. The path to an enriched life is staying out of your comfort zone and exploring the world around you.
