I was born and raised in the Lake Wallenpaupack area and attended Wallenpaupack Area School District for 12 years. From there I attended The Pennsylvania State University and obtained my Bachelors Degree in accounting and a minor in Business Law at the Smeal College of Business. During this time, I took several real estate classes that covered a wide range of topics including urban real estate; economic forces affecting property rights; real estate markets and finance; land-use analysis; government policies, historical performance, land use issues, market valuation, real estate development, and public policy issues. I enjoyed these classes and decided to further my studies and pursue a career in real estate. In the summer of 2008, I completed my course work at the Pennsylvania Real Estate Academy and obtained my sales-person license shortly thereafter. In February of 2009 I teamed up with Re/Max of Lake Wallenpaupack North and local real estate pro, Phil Arasimowicz. He has provided me with his extensive knowledge of the business as well as a wealth of knowledge of the local area. I later joined the experts at Davis R. Chant in late 2010 to further my real estate career and deal in residential and commercial sales, commercial leases, and vacation rentals in the Lake Wallenpaupack area. I come from a long line of builders, including my father, Peter Clauss owner of Clauss Construction. My life long experience working in the construction industry in both the field and office has extended my knowledge of the overall real estate business, and provided me with a great understanding of home sales in general.
