Born and raised in Port Huron, MI, Bill is a 2006 graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences/Chemistry. He spent the following six years in Kalamazoo, MI, working for a global preclinical contract research organization, while also serving as a board member of the Kalamazoo LGBT+ Resource Center, President of the Kalamazoo LGBT+ Professionals Network, and co-chair of the Kalamazoo Pride Festival, Michigan's second-largest queer event. He also helped build the online presence of the legacy Kalamazoo Alliance for Equality (KAFE), a statewide political action committee, as its Communications Chair.
Bill relocated to San Diego in 2012 and is now Director of Business Development (West Coast) at Certara, where he works hands-on with pharma and biotech companies to improve decision-making, streamline processes, and de-risk drug development.
A certified LATG Toxicology Researcher with extensive experience working with nonhuman primates, Bill previously served as Development Chair on the board of Mama's Kitchen and is currently on the Grants Committee of Life Science Cares - San Diego. He's an avid runner who enjoys red wines, cold brew coffee, and time with his maltipoo, Ribo. Above all, he loves traveling abroad with his family whenever he can.
