William Kopenhefer Manhattan Beach

A native of California, William Kopenhefer attended Mira Costa High School, where he earned recognition as a scholar athlete all four years by maintaining a GPA of 3.3 or better while competing on the varsity volleyball team. He has also participated in a number of local community service initiatives including volunteering as a theatrical crewmember with Manhattan Beach Community Church and answering phone calls for the Los Angeles-based suicide hotline Community Helpline.

Currently a sophomore at New York University (NYU), William Kopenhefer earned a 3.5 GPA in the fall of 2014 and a 4.0 GPA in the spring of 2015. He also made the student athlete academic honor roll in the spring term of 2015. Outside of the classroom, he plays on the NYU varsity volleyball team and holds membership in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
