Garnet's youthful and energetic voice has been heard on imaging and toy commercials on TV networks such as YTV, Treehouse, Teletoon, Cartoon Network, Disney XD, and Teletoon Retro.
Garnet is the narrator of "Dinner Party Wars" on The Foodnetwork, and "Cottage Cheese" and "My Retreat" on The Cottage Life Channel.
He has voiced narration/e-learning projects for Sam's Club, JC Penny, Vancouver Tourism, RBC, and The Toronto Board of Education.
National radio and TV commercial credits include Microsoft, Parker Brothers, Subway, Lowes, Cricket Wireless, Mary Brown’s Chicken, Hasbro, GM Goodwrench, Bell, Nabisco, Spinmaster Toys, Time Warner Cable, OLG, Wind Mobile, The Source, Comcast, Trident Gum, National Diamond Stores, Shaw Business, and Mattel Hotwheels.
A recent challenging, but incredibly rewarding experience was being cast to voice an escaped convict in an episode of the National Geographic drama series "Breakout".
Garnet is an avid fan of animation voice actors, and counts Rob Paulsen, Jason Marsden, Frank Welker, Michael Bell, and fellow Canucks Maurice LaMarche, Tara Strong, and Eric Bauza.
He lives somewhat quietly near Toronto with his wife, Lee-ann, his kids, Connor and Alexis, and 4 moderately-trained felines.
