I am the first of 4 girls, born and raised in sunny Botswana. Holidays were spent at the village, herding and milking goats, plowing and running around in the dirt with siblings and cousins.

I have always loved reading and trips and adventures with my cousins sparked a love for speaking and writing that refuses to be put out.

My mother knew that if I was up late, I had a book that was keeping me up and her being a librarian fueled the reading and imagination even further. I was always in the library after school .
