Jonathan James

Born in December 1987, Mr James (Jonathan is his real name) is passionate about music as far as he can remember. He is part of the new generation of “livers” inspired by Billx, Strez, Mimaniac Alryck... his elders.
When he was 13 years old, he developed a close interest in electronic music and its derivatives (techno, speedcore hardtech, hardcore psytrance).
Later, driven by his passion, he rediscovers the free party movement and participates in gatherings to meet up with DJ’s. He totally relates to these “low vibrations” which transport him. Very quickly he wants to get to the other side of the fence and starts composing his own music.
He learns the basics of guitar and keyboard playing and it quickly becomes second nature. Mr James is a self-made man. He is not locked into any particular style of music, and he composes music that reflects the diversity of his various sources of inspiration.
Known as James Bong until 2012, he recently changed to Mr James, but that could change again, over time ...
