Younes Chahlaoui

I am an applied mathematician working on a variety of problems involving model order reduction of dynamical systems. I am also interested in Linear algebra, numerical analysis, systems and control theory, statistics, scientific computing and numerical simulation, computer science.

Born 19 November 1974, in El Jadida, Morocco. Married, two children (Chadi born 19/09/2005 and Yahya born 19/12/2006). I received my Baccalaureat in Mathematical Sciences from the Academy of El Jadida in 1993. I received the DEUG in Mathematics and Physics, the Licence, and The Maîtrise (master's degree) in Applied Mathematics, all three of them from the Universite Chouaib Doukkali, El Jadida, Morocco, in 1997 and 1999, respectively. Then I received the DEA and the doctoral degree, both in applied sciences and from the Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain, Universite Catholic de Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
